Who we are
North Canterbury Musicals (NCMS) is an incorporated society and charitable organisation established in 1964, dedicated to bringing high-quality live musical theatre to North Canterbury. Over the past 60 years, we have provided a home for aspiring performers, designers, and technical crew to develop and showcase their talents, while fostering an appreciation for musical theatre within the wider community.
Our home is the Northbrook Studios, where we build sets, maintain technical equipment, create costumes, and run rehearsals. Our facilities are also available to other community groups and businesses, supporting arts and community activity across the region.
